Business Development Executive
Graphite HRM is a Human Resource Solutions Company, providing Consultancy, Services and Products to approximately 1500 organisations throughout Ireland.
We now have a vacancy for a Business Development Executive, to join our Irish operations
The role would suit a Business Development Professional with a minimum 3-5 years experience selling professional services. The ideal candidate should be looking to progress his / her career with maturity and professionalism. This is a senior role and would give the successful candidate an opportunity to work closely with the Directors / Senior Managers of the business. You should be comfortable and confident creating power-point presentations, proposal documents and presenting to senior decision makers. This will be a challenging role but rewarding both financially and career wise.
Job Purpose
To drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding targets through a consultative sales approach. This is a business development role assisting the growth of our HR service. It involves meeting with senior decision makers with the objective of converting them into users of the company's products and services.
Main Duties
Using your strategically driven and professional sales experience and approach you will sell the company's HR products and services into the Irish market by:
- Calling new business contacts and introducing the services portfolio;
- Finding & qualifying sales leads;
- Securing conversations with senior decision makers, developing the "business conversation" and moving to the next step;
- Attending face to face meetings with senior decision makers;
- Liaising with senior decision makers to produce pitches and presentations;
- Maintaining a strong pipeline;
- Developing proposals with prospects that are capable of closing sales;
- Meeting new business appointment, deals and revenue targets per month;
- Once confirmed, ensure that the client is fully transferred to a designated account manager;
- Encouraging renewal campaigns;
- Sales administration and post-sales work (only to a minimum level).
Skills and Qualification Required
- Degree educated (desirable);
- Relevant business / marketing qualification (desirable);
- Excellent systems and database skills including experience of windows-based packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Experience of working in a professional services firm;
- Proven delivery record and experience of working with senior management;
- A track record in business development;
- The ability to be able to sell a service;
- A clear and confident communication style;
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates must have a full driving licence as you will be required to go out and meet with clients.
