This workshop is designed to inform managers and HR professionals on how to respond to a complaint, and what to do to manage the work environment should an investigation take place. This is an emotive time for all parties, and needs to be dealt with in a fair and sensitive manner.

The aims of this half-day interactive workshop are:

  1. To provide an overview of Employment Equality and Health & Safety legislation and the Codes of Practice as they relate to Bullying and Harassment;
  2. To gain an understanding of the resolution process;
  3. Establish a simple methodology for managers to adopt when a complaint is made;
  4. Investigate the considerations for managers when a formal investigation is in progress;
  5. Look at recent case law and identify the lessons learnt.
