Career History:

Moira joined Graphite HRM as a HR Consultant in May 2012, with over 8 years HR experience, most recently with Pioneer Investments. Her past roles included both local and international organisations within the financial and service industries sectors.

With 14 different international employment law jurisdictions under her belt, Moira has worked across a wide range of HR functions including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, restructuring and start-ups.

Her commercially astute and detailed way of thinking makes her a true asset to both Graphite itself, and to our clients working in fast-paced and changing environments.

Moira graduated from the National College in Ireland in 2009 with a BA in Human Resource Management, and the Law Society of Ireland in 2013 with a Diploma in Employment Law. She is a member of the CIPD and a certified mediator.

Career History:

Louise has over fifteen years experience as a HR professional across eight industries in both unionised and non-unionised environments. In the ten years before joining Graphite, she worked as a HR manager and business partner in both public and private sectors, delivering a range of HR processes including recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, change and redundancy.

Starting out in Dunnes Stores, where she had responsibility for the operation of HR services in their Head Office for over five hundred staff, Louise subsequently moved on to temporarily manage the HR function in MCI WorldCom and the compensation and benefits function at Friends First.

She then spent three years managing the HR function at Lam Research Semiconductors, before moving on to DHL, where she was responsible for delivering the change agenda, implementing new HR processes and managing employee relations.

Louise then became HR manager of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), playing a pivotal role in HR strategy, advising the Board and Senior Management team on all HR issues. After five years in the public sector, Louise took up the role of HR business partner with United Drug, before joining Graphite HRM in July 2012.

  • Led a number of challenging investigation and disciplinary processes in the distribution industry.

  • Managed numerous redundancies and transfers, including leading the HR process on the closure of Lam Research in Ireland.

  • Delivering the change agenda in a number of areas: at DHL she led the HR process in the centralisation of customer services from regional operations to a central operation.

  • Managed a number of recruitment and selection processes at all levels – most significantly managing the appointment process of the CEO for the SEAI and delivering the redeployment agenda.

Career History:

Graham joined Graphite HRM as a HR Consultant in April 2015. Graham is an accomplished HR professional with in excess of 7 years’ HR experience spanning a wide range of industries including retail, recruitment, contract catering, managed services, and property. His previous HR experience encompasses a broad spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment and selection, disciplinary and grievance investigations, performance management, provision of in-house training, restructures, redundancy processes, TUPE, and contract mobilisation.

Graham is an experienced HR professional who communicates effectively on HR compliance matters with all levels within an organisation from senior management to front-line. Graham is a commercially minded and strategic HR Consultant with a strong work ethic and an array of HR experience within fast paced and challenging environments.

Graham graduated from University College Dublin in 2007 with a BSocSc in Social Science and an MBS in Human Resource Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Business School in 2008.

Career History:

Karen joined Graphite HRM in February 2015 as a HR Consultant. Prior to this Karen worked with Peninsula Business (Services) Ireland, starting out with the Documentation team and then working with the Legal Services and Advice team. Main responsibilities were research and development for current legislation and case law and preparations for tribunal hearings.

Most recent responsibilities were workforce planning and recruitment for the Employment Services department before moving into the HR Consultant role.

Karen has been involved in advising a number of Senior Managers and Boards of Management in managing complex workplace investigations. She advises HR professionals and management teams on HR best practice in line with employment compliance.

Career History:

Nicholas joined Graphite HRM as a HR Consultant based in Belfast, Northern Ireland in August 2016 as part of Graphite HRM’s expansion into the Northern Irish market. Nicholas previously worked in the Legal Services Department of Peninsula from August 2015, contributing to both the Industrial Tribunal Defence and the HRFace2Face arms of the Department. Nicholas is a qualified Solicitor, and prior to joining the Peninsula Group, Nicholas worked in a private solicitors’ firm in Belfast as a Legal Executive – specialising in Employment Law, Commercial Law & Conveyancing.

Nicholas studied law at undergraduate level at Queen’s University Belfast, before obtaining his professional legal qualification at the Queen’s University Belfast Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Nicholas also graduated with a Masters’ Degree in Human Rights and Criminal Justice from Queen University Belfast in 2011.

Nicholas brings his knowledge and experience of employment law and best practice into his current role as HR Consultant – advising across various disciplines including grievance, disciplinary and capability.
